the Oddities and Wonders of Life

I've been thinking a lot about life, recently... for those of you that do know what's going on in my life, you'll know why....💜💜💙💙💚💚

I wonder, perhaps you could tell me...

Have you ever woken up early just to watch the sun rise?

Have you ever stayed up all night just to see the sun rise?

Have you ever gone to the beach or somewhere nature-esqe?

Have you ever run fully clothed out into the pouring rain?

Have you ever laid down in a grassy field?

Have you ever sat under a tree just before the sun goes down?

Have you ever walked barefoot on the beach just near the waters edge?

Have you ever sat/lay down at the bottom of a pool?

Have you ever laid in a bath filled with a bath bomb and some music playing?

Have you ever just sat in the presence of someone in the silent beautiful night? 

If you haven't I highly suggest it 😍😘

Life is a long process, but it can pass in the blink of an eye... 

You start out as a little kid, refusing to take a nap to a moody ungrateful teenager wishing you could be old enough to leave home, then you get to adulthood you wish you could nap, and go back to your house and build a pillow fort eat junk food and watch movies all day, responsibilities pile on, eventually have a family of your own leaning on your family for advice and support, leaning on your mother to help you and give you advice... then they get older and you wish you had spent more time with them instead of fighting with them... 

Time is a funny thing, as you press forward nothing really feels the same, but when you look back everything is different... its crazy to think about it! they days pass in a blur especially when you get older.. years seem to fly by every time you blink! I heard this quote one time and it stayed in my heart

"Time is like a river. you can not touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will ever pass again... Enjoy every moment" 

I love the reference of life with water, because of its fluidity and ability to be so many different things... water can be HOT ___ COLD ___ SOLID ___ FLOWING___STILL___HARD___SOFT so many forms just like life right? In loose terms it is essentially... Some people take it for granted, others have limited supply or its not good to drink...  looking at someone else's clear blue pond instead of taking care of their own... 

Life could be gone in the blink of an eye... So what is your focus in life? are you focused on making money you'll possibly never spend? ignoring people who only want to love you?? or are you making memories, and leaving footprints in the sand of time? 

I don't know about you, but life is too short to stay stagnate in a Job you hate, doing things that make you want to die inside without people who love you surrounding you.

So every once in a while Turn up the tunes hit the road with people who make you memories! and do what you love! because you've only got one shot. Don't spend it trying to impress people who only want to see you fail... or don't really care about you! 

take a chance and who knows, it might be the best thing you've ever done <3
